With Boxes-To-Go, taking words to boxes has never been so easy! Designed for the classroom or small literacy groups, Boxes-To-Go show how sounds become words. The "sliding sounds into boxes" technique has been a successful teaching tool used in Reading Recovery lessons, and is also extremely effective with groups of students.
Each Boxes-To-Go set includes 5 box strips (one 2-box, one 3-box, three 4-box) and three single boxes for plurals, contractions, or to add to other strips to make longer words. Each strip features a dry-erase surface, and a strong flat magnet back that will not slip as the teacher writes. The large size 2" x 2" boxes means that words can easily be read from the back of a classroom.
